3rd Meeting of Finance and Planning Committee of Women University, Swabi

Finance and Planning Committee 3rdmeeting of Finance and Planning Committee of Women University, Swabi was held on 4th May 2018. The meeting was chaired by the Worthy Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr.Khanzadi Fatima Khattak, FRSC, FCSP and attended by Mr. Shah Mahmood Khan, Additional Secretary, Planning and Development Department, Mr. Ahmed RasulBangash, Additional Auditor General of Pakistan (Retd.), Mr. Muhammad Ayaz Khan, Deputy Secretary (Admin), Higher Education, Archives and Libraries Department, Syed Qalb-e-Abbass, Deputy Director (Budget), HEC, Mr.KhurshidAlam, Deputy Secretary, Finance Department, Prof. Dr. Ihasnullah, Women University, Swabi, Mr.Latifullah, Incharge, Planning and DevelopmentDepartment, Women University, Swabi, Mr.Raza Ur Rehman, Women University, Swabi, Syed Masoom Shah, Deputy Registrar, andMr.Ihsanullah, Incharge Finance Section, Women University, Swabi. The Budget estimates for the year 2018 - 19 were prepared keeping in view the academic, research, recurring and developmental needs of the University. The committee recommended the budget of Rs. 544.29/- million. The meeting also recommended the revised budget estimates for the year 2017-18. The Vice Chancellor shared that research, innovations and community development are the top most priorities of Women University, Swabi. At the end, the Committee presented a tribute to Vice Chancellor, Prof. Dr. Khanzadi Fatima Khattak for being a first Pakistani female academic to receive the world prestigious Fellowship of Royal Society of Chemistry, United Kingdom and for the progress made under her leadership in such a short span of time.
