Introduction

The Department of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (DMS) / Medical Imaging Technology is an established department at Women University Swabi, offering a regular BS MIT program. The department aims to provide a professional degree and practical training in MIT to female students. Medical Imaging Technologists are highly trained professionals skilled in using ultrasound, CT, MRI, X-ray, mammography, and fluoroscopy to produce diagnostic images. Students participate in clinical rotations in major hospitals, gaining hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment. The program is accredited, professional, and cost-effective — producing qualified graduates who contribute to quality healthcare services in District Swabi.
