Women University Swabi

The Department of English Language & Literature is one of the leading departments of the newly established university, The University of Swabi for Women. It was established in 2013 and was initially affiliated with Shaheed Benazir Bhutto Women University. It aims to produce empowered and confident women with strong oral and written English skills, fostering critical and creative thinking.

Vision

The Department envisions female students with an extensive understanding of the world and its diverse cultures through analytical, confident, and keen perception gained from the courses offered. We aim to instill love for knowledge, research, creativity, productivity, and critical thought through a broad curriculum.

Mission

The mission of the Department is to provide a voice to the women learners of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to express themselves confidently through various genres of English language and literature. The department offers a comprehensive curriculum that equips students with theoretical and practical knowledge, preparing them for higher studies and professional communication.
